DCI Publishes List of T&B Licence Holders Published November 08th, 2013, 4:40 pm
A list of current trade and business licence holders is now available on the Department of Commerce and Investment’s (DCI) website.
The list, to be updated monthly, will assist individuals and business owners to verify that the companies they plan to conduct business with are operating legally. It itemises the name of the company, the business category it falls under, and the licence validity dates.
"Our office receives a number of calls from persons asking about the status of TBL licences. Therefore, for easy access, we felt that it would be useful to post a list of current licensees online’, said DCI Director Ryan Rajkumarsingh.
Making the information public will also assist DCI’s enforcement and compliance unit, as persons will be able to refer to the list and notify DCI of entities that they believe are operating illegally.
Persons are encouraged to visit www.dci.gov.ky, click on the trade and business licensing link on the left side of the homepage, and select the reports option from the drop down menu.
